From postcolonial peace movements to post-porn activism and Guerrilla Girls, the history of the feminist movement is one of constant, free-ranging contraband between action and theory. This course sets out to explore some of the practices deployed by radical feminism, from the seventies to the present day, as ingenious and creative ways of breaking into public space and symbolic order.
