Lateral Views to "In the Troubled Air..."
Author visits to the exhibition
Do you want to discover In the troubled air... through the eyes of some of today’s most prominent thinkers and creators? We offer five author-led visits, guided by art critic Marta Gili, philosopher Andrea Soto Calderón, and artists Maria Alcaide, Frederic Amat, and Pedro G. Romero.
Each author’s perspective crosses cultural criticism, image theory, artistic research, and curatorial practice. Starting out out with a personal selection of works and their own framework of reflection, they offer an alternative journey around the exhibition. Rather than illustrative or explanatory interpretations, these visits are invitations to activate the gaze and thought from the perspective of difference, conflict and plurality of perception. They propose a sensitive, critical pause, a way of inhabiting the exhibition that leaves space for the viewer’s own experience, intuition, and emotions.
