This August, the CCCB presents seven films by women filmmakers, made in Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
City Symphonies is an audiovisual creation project that sets out to analyse urban space by means of the personal itineraries of different filmmakers and create a collection of audiovisual pieces that showcase cities in the early 21st century.
This summer, the foyer of the CCCB will be the venue to see the seven films in the project’s first outing. They are films made in 2022 by women filmmakers, some consolidated and some upcoming, and portray various areas of Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
