International Documentary Film Festival - Every year, Barcelona's International Documentary Film Festival DocsBarcelona brings to the city the best international documentary premieres and outstanding filmmakers from all over the world.
From 8 to 18 May, DocsBarcelona will celebrate its 28th edition with a brave, diverse and committed programme. This year a new competitive section, entitled Visions, will showcase bold films that explore the limits of non-fiction from unusual angles. In addition to the CCCB, the Festival will also be held at the Renoir and Phenomena cinemas, the Filmoteca de Catalunya, Casa Montjuïc and Espai Texas.
Also taking place alongside the Festival is DocsBarcelona Industry, the main professional non-fiction market in southern Europe, a meeting point for producers and directors looking for opportunities for their projects with financiers, distributors and agents for international sales.
