La Selva. Ecosistema Creatiu is a film collective set up by several Latin American visual artists living in the city of Barcelona.
As they say, "Our artistic processes focus on creating films and audiovisual pieces that shift the focus away from the centre, producing new views of the world with feminist and de-colonial perspectives, demolishing hegemonic discourses to explain the world from new places of speech. We look at reality from our own perspective; from the conflicts and experiences that have affected us: our migrations, our position as women and our diverse identities."
Liliana Díaz Castillo, Melisa Ramírez, Jana Montllor Blanes i Lucía Dapena are four of the filmmakers that make up the collective La Selva. Ecosistema Creatiu. They write and direct Disonar, selected for the City Symphonies project and produced by the CCCB in collaboration with Dones Visuals, which premieres at D’A Film Festival 2022.
