Eloy Fernández Porta
With a PhD in Humanities from the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) of Barcelona (winner of the Extraordinary Doctorate Award), he is an essayist and lecturer in theories of culture and contemporary art in the Hispanic and European Studies Program, and also at the Barcelona School of Management, both at the UPF. Notable among his publications are the essays Afterpop (2010), Homo Sampler (2008), €®O$ (2010), winner of the Anagrama Essay Prize, Emociónese así (2013), City of Barcelona Prize, and En la confidencia (2018), all of them published by Anagrama and his essay L'art de fer-ne un gra massa (2018). He writes for the magazines Rockdelux, Jot Down, A*Desk, and Núvol and his work has been translated into English, French and Portuguese.
