Seven cinematic views of Barcelona
Presentation of "City Symphonies" at the Biennal de Pensament
Debate + Audiovisuals
Free with pre-booking
What are today's cities like? And what can the gaze of female filmmakers reveal about them? We present the first series of films of "City Symphonies", seven pieces shot in Barcelona and other towns within the metropolitan area.
"City Symphonies" is a new wide-ranging audiovisual project by the CCCB that aims to view and analyse urban space through the personal itineraries of different filmmakers, creating a collection of audiovisual pieces that bear witness to the cities of the early 21st century.
On the occasion of the Biennal de Pensament, the Open Centre of Architecture and the CCCB present the first series of films: seven pieces made by both established and emerging filmmakers, shot in Barcelona and other towns within the metropolitan area.
