Boom! The Adventures of Xavi Ayén / Los Hermanos Podcast and Daniel Ausente / Ignatius Farray / Sleaford Mods
Xavi Ayén, a journalist who’s interviewed a few Nobel prize-winners, talks about the trials, tribulations and incredible adventures of his book Aquellos años del boom (2014). Los Hermanos Podcast (Noel Ceballos and El Hematocrítico), heroes of humour and rulers of the social networks, have a special guest for this podcast, Daniel Ausente, writer of Mentiré si es necesario. Ignatius Farray hosts his most confessional show, with the characteristic and joyful "silent shout", one of his gags. To finish, the English twosome of rant/rap/spoken word, Sleaford Mods, present their new album, Divide + Exit.
Session 2 // 10.15 pm
Max Mix / Caitlin Moran and Marta Salicrú / Jon Langford / The Monochrome Set
Josep Maria Castells, Toni Peret and Mike Platinas, the creators of Megamix in the eighties and first DJs in Spain, offer a joint theatrical show to mark 30 years of the phenomenon. Caitlin Moran, the most hilarious, foul-mouthed and autobiographical columnist in the British press, talks to the Time Out Barcelona's music critic Marta Salicrú. Jon Langford, lead singer of the great band The Mekons, sings the story of his life, armed only with a guitar and a throat. And finally, The Monochrome Set close Primera Persona 2015 with a new disc under their arm and with a historic collection of hits that we can’t wait to hear again.
