The 2012 Prize exhibition is continuing its tour through Latin America. After the show in Medellín it is now moving on to the next venue, Bogotá, the capital of Colombia.
Bogotá is a city that is confronting new challenges arising from its exponential growth. Its public spaces express some of the problems of present-day society such as segregation, unplanned urbanisation, privatisation of spaces once under public authority, poverty and difficulties of access to housing.
The exhibition, created by the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona and co-produced together with the Kreanta Foundation - in the framework of the initiative Cathedra Medellín-Barcelona - and the City Council of Bogotá, will be on show at the Bogotá Museum until 14 April. Several parallel activities will be held during this period.
The inauguration of the exhibition toke place on 7 February.
