Mercè Folch

With a degree in Catalan Philology and a diploma in Audiovisual Communication, her career has led her to collaborate with various stations such as Ona Catalana, Radio Barcelona-Cadena Ser, RAC-1, and Catalunya Ràdio. At the public broadcaster, she has worked in the news department and spent six seasons on El Cafè de la República with Joan Barril. She covered the refugee humanitarian crisis with the programs La Tribu and El Suplement. Currently, she is the director of the program Solidaris on Catalunya Ràdio (Joan Gomis Award, 2021, Civisme Award in Media, 2021, and ONCE Award 2023). She has also directed the investigative podcast "El mar. El mur" (Sonor Award for Best Production, 2024).
