David Bravo
Architect. He collaborates with the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) in the development of the European Prize for Urban Public Space, where he is responsible for contents and secretary of the Jury, and he has recently worked for the Barcelona City Council as responsible for the strategy against gentrification. He has curated the series of talks Goodbye to the Car! How to free Barcelona from the private vehicle? at Sala Beckett Theater and the exhibition "Piso Piloto" on the right to housing and the right to the city (CCCB - Museum of Antioquia in Medellin, Colombia) and he has directed for the Spanish public television (RTVE) the "Europe City" documentary (2012), on the validity of the European model of city. He has also collaborated in the publication of the book Europe City: Lessons from the European Prize for Urban Public Space (Lars Müller Publishers, 2015). He has taught in the Master of City and Urban Planning at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), the graduate of Art and Public Space of ELISAVA School of Design and the Master of Architecture and Urban Culture Metropolis. He is a regular contributor to the Revista Diagonal architecture magazine and writes for several other media.
