Lapsus 2019 - ACT 2: The Echo Chamber

Lapsus 2019 is the sixth edition of a festival that is divided into three chapters that will take place at the Theater Building of the CCCB —co-producer of the event since the beginning— and in LAUT concert hall.

Following ACT 1, where we experienced electronic music from Eastern Europe thanks to the Unsound Festival, Lapsus returns with an autumnal edition that continues to showcase exceptional sounds from the world of cutting edge electronic music. This year’s second event, entitled The Echo Chamber, proudly presents two artists whose careers are defined by an unceasing mutation of their sound.

Moritz Von Oswald presents: Akklamation

It is an honour to announce the solo performance of german Moritz Von Oswald, the renowned master of experimentation and one of the most important and influential figures in the history of modern electronic music. Von Oswald has adeptly reinvented himself on numerous occasions over the last three decades through investigation and improvisation. He will do so once again at Lapsus, with his new show Akklamation.

Pina presents: Buit

From the domestic scene Pedro Pina, the artist whose career is closely linked to the history of Lapsus, will present his new work entitled Buit. Due for release in 2020 it sees him delve into his most raw and ambient facet, while maintaining his exploration into the limits of technology that make his live performances entirely unique occasions.

3D Sound Enviornment by Intorno Labs

It is worth highlighting the collaboration with Intorno Labs, a studio specializing in developing multidimensional sound tools and latest generation immersive technologies. Intorno Labs will create an unprecedented psychoacoustic experience in Barcelona that will allow attendees to experience shows in a more profound and immersive fashion. To this end, performing artists will participate in an extended pre show rehearsal period, in order to prepare these immersive three-dimensional sound experiences.
