PISO PILOTO IS A COPRODUCTION BETWEEN CCCB AND THE MUSEUM OF ANTIOQUIA (MEDELLÍN, COLOMBIA), WHERE ITS EXHIBITING ON THE Museo de Antioquia de Medellín FROM JULY 24th TO OCTOBER 8th OF 2015.

Beyond their differences, Medellin and Barcelona are cities of comparable sizes, with a long relationship of mutual co-operation and that have had international significance for having promoted an inclusive urbanism and that has put many public spaces in the service of social redistribution. However, like so many other cities around the world, both are still pending on the urgent subject to ensure the right to housing.

The Museum of Antioquia exposure reaches Piso Piloto, a project that reflects on the housingThe exhibition is shown simultaneously in Medellin, Colombia and Barcelona, Spain. At the Museum of Antioquia will be from June 24 to October 8, 2015 and the Center for Contemporary Culture in Barcelona (CCCB) from June 3 to October 25, 2015.

Piso Piloto is an exhibition of hand with the Mayor of Medellin, the City of Barcelona and the CCCB and aims to generate debate and present a series of proposals to help answer the most important issues facing the both cities around the theme of housing and its relationship with the public space. Proposals that can be extrapolated to other cities worldwide.

A total of 44 proposals generated by these reflections on the house from different approaches. Grouping approaches academic research teams from Public Administration agencies or initiatives promoted by the civil society, from, mostly, Barcelona and Medellin, but also from other cities.

The CCCB and the Museum of Antioquia become a testbed for promoting more sustainable and inclusive cities, which become effective right to housing and the right to the city.
