Beta Sessions

Artificial Intelligence Explained by Experts

In this cycle of six informative talks open to the public, research teams from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) explain the state of their investigation and projects, which also form part of the exhibition AI: Artificial Intelligence. The aim is to learn about the present and future of AI and supercomputing with the help of the scientific community.

How are AI and supercomputing being explained in the fields of medicine, art, technology, climate and urban planning? Scientists and experts at the BSC bring us up to speed on the advances in personalized medicine by means of the generation of digital twins and virtual humans based on supercomputing. We’ll also find out what digital twins are in the context of cities, discover the latest innovations and challenges of generative AI, learn how AI can help to promote Catalan, and hear how AI contributes to research on climate, meteorology and improved air quality.
