Pepon Meneses

(Barcelona, 1979)

Some of his works have been shown in specialist festivals such as Dérapage 16, in the Cinémathèque Québécoise de Montreal, and Festival NRMAL, in Mexico City. He also produces animated films commissioned by such television and film entities as Televisió de Catalunya and Focus Audiovisual, among others, and is one of the programmers of the CRANC cycle of cinema and experimental video at L’Automàtica (Barcelona). He teaches on an ad hoc basis and has been a guest lecturer at Media Art Morocco (MAM), the Kunsthochschule für Medien in Cologne, and the Punto y Raya Festival. He has been awarded the Junceda prize for Animation in 2015 and 2018, and was selected in the Open Panoramic Call of the Panoramic Festival of Film and Photography 2019.
