Javier Celaya

Founding partner of Dosdoce.com

Javier Celaya (Bilbao, 1963) is a founding partner of Dosdoce.com. Since it was set up in March 2004, the aim of Dosdoce.com has been to encourage publishers, bookstores, libraries, museums, foundations, etc., to use all kinds of technologies and to better understand the implications and benefits resulting from their use. To help cultural managers to understand the times we live in, the team at Dosdoce.com has published over 100 studies, reports and infographics on the use of new technologies in different areas of the cultural sector.

Celaya is Head of Institutional Relations at the Business Association for Digital Books in Spain (Asociación Empresarial del Libro Digital de España – ASELID) as well as a member of the Management Board of the Spanish Association for the Digital Economy (Asociación Española de la Economía Digital – Adigital). He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Columbia University in New York and a degree in Business Management from Boston College.
