Leading figures from the domains of academia and activism, Pastora Filigrana, Daniela Ortiz, Núria Güell, Florencia Montes Páez, and Hibai Arbide, discuss the role of culture and creation in a situation where democracy is in crisis.
When democratic systems are broken and fraught with the authoritarian trends of the global crisis of neoliberalism, how are the responses of culture, creation, and international networks being shaped?
The lawyer and human rights activist, Pastora Filigrana, the anticolonial activist Daniela Ortiz, the artist Núria Güell, the political scientist and specialist in political philosophy Florencia Montes Páez, and the journalist Hibai Arbide come together to discuss and reflect upon such questions.
This event is part of the programme “Democracy at Risk” being held at the Faberllull Olot international residency and organised by the Ramon Lull Institute and the Olot City Council.
