Lateral Views
Visit to "In the Troubled Air..." with Pedro G. Romero
Courses and workshops
Artist, curator and researcher Pedro G. Romero proposes an alternative route around the exhibition that highlights the tensions between what is poetic and what is political.
With his work, Pedro G. Romero reflects on the artistic avant-garde, flamenco and the imaginaries of popular cultures. Based on a personal selection of works and a specific framework for reflection, this visit comprises a route around different pieces in the exhibition in which the artist uses a practice that moves between the institutional centre and the popular fringes.
With Lateral Views, the CCCB expands the exhibition narrative by means of voices which, in their singularity, help us to look, and look at ourselves, from other viewpoints, turning the exhibition into a living, questioning space that is open to multiple forms of meaning.
