D’A - Barcelona Film Festival

The D’A – Barcelona Film Festival screens an international panorama of the finest contemporary auteur cinema, combining the discovery of emerging new talents and cinematographies with internationally established directors and films that have traditionally received rough treatment from our country’s commercial distributors. The festival is organised by Noucinemart, a film promoter specialized in the promotion and diffusion of contemporary cinema. The Noucinemart’s team has 15 years of experience organising different film events, such as the Barcelona Asian Film Festival – BAFF (12 editions held) and the CineAmbigú independent cinema programme (12 editions).

The D'A held its first edition in 2011 and it programmes part of the festival in the CCCB venue since 2013.
