The D’A - Barcelona Film Festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary, having become an essential meeting point for the most relevant names in auteur cinema and the freshest, most stimulating voices from today’s independent cinema.
The Festival has grown considerably over the past three years, both in terms of its format and also its impact on the public. This, together with an unwavering commitment to a varied programme that always has an eye on new names and trends, has established D’A as an essential event for cinephiles in Barcelona and beyond.
This 15th anniversary will also see the most ambitious Festival to date, with more guests and activities than ever before. The 15th D'A - Barcelona Film Festival will run from 27 March to 6 April 2025, at the CCCB (Sala Teatre, Auditori, Sala Raval and Hall), Mooby Aribau, Filmoteca de Catalunya, Zumzeig, Casa Montjuïc and the SGAE’s centre in Catalonia. The inaugural session will take place on Thursday, 27 March at the large screen of the Mooby Aribau cinema.
As part of this edition, the fourth series of "City Symphonies", the audiovisual project produced by the CCCB in collaboration with Dones Visuals, will be premiered.
