Cycle of contemporary films by indigenous peoples
A representative sample of the cinema of indigenous peoples that is currently being made in the Amazon, programmed by alterNativa Exchange with Indigenous Peoples organiser of Indifest, Barcelona Indigenous Film Festival.
"Amazonian Visions" presents a plural selection of films made from diverse cultures and territories of the region, made by indigenous peoples or with the active participation of organisations that work in the audiovisual field in a participatory and community manner.
Feature films and short films from Bora (Colombia), Siekopai (Ecuador), Kichwa (Ecuador), Yanomami (Brazil), Shuar (Ecuador), Ese Eja (Peru) and Tacana (Bolivia) peoples will be screened among others.
