Lúa Coderch

Artist and associate professor at BAU, Design College of Barcelona. She holds a Master’s degree in Artistic Production and Research and a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, and she trained as a sculptor at the Escola Massana. She combines narrative practices and objectual practices in videos, performances, and installations that she sets up as mechanisms for research. Her work has been included in the collections of museums and art centres such as the MACBA, the MUSAC – Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla y León, and the Cal Cego Contemporary Art Collection, among others. It has also been shown in exhibitions, including at Bienalsur (Argentina), the Fundació Joan Miró, Domus Artium, the MUAC – University Museum of Contemporary Art (Mexico), and SMART (Netherlands).
