Emili Manzano

Emili Manzano Mulet (Palma, 1964) is a journalist and TV producer. With a degree in Hispanic Philology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, he has worked as a journalist for the newspapers ABC, Diario de Mallorca, La Vanguardia and El País. Between 2001 and 2005, he was director and presenter of the literary programme "Saló de lectura" in the Barcelona-based municipal channel BTV. From 2007 to 2011 he was director of "L'hora del lector", which was broadcasted  in C33 (Televisió de Catalunya). He was the producer and presenter of "Amb filosofia" in C33. He has edited and translated an anthology of the writings of the French philosopher Alain Badiou titled Mira a lo lejos (Look into the Distance, RBA) and has written the fictional work Pinyols d'aubercoc (Apricot Stones, L'Avenç).
