Clara Aguilar
Composer, producer and sound designer
Composer and stage and sound artist. She studied music, and has degrees in Journalism and the Humanities, and a master’s degree in Gender Studies. She currently works as a producer and composer of music for the performing arts and film. In theatre, she has worked with artists such as Sílvia Delagneau (Rave), Marta Pazos (Dique), Carlota Subirós (La plaça del Diamant), Alícia Gorina (Aquell dia tèrbol que vaig sortir…) and Ferran Dordal (Reiseführer, Asesinato de un fotógrafo); in dance, with Marcos Morau (Nachtträume, Totentanz) and Lisi Estarás (La Honte); in film, with Elena Martín (Creatura), Borja Cobeaga and Ginesta Guindal (Su Majestad), Bàrbara Farré (Selftape), Mikel Gurrea (Suro) and Paca Caballero, and, on the music scene, with John Talabot, Pere Jou and Anna Andreu, among others. In the framework of Amor Odi at L’Auditori, she directed the show L’amour toujours. As CLARAGUILAR, she has performed at festivals such as Mutek, Sonar, the Flama de Màlaga Festival and BAM. In March 2024 she released Figura, her second album, on Lapsus Records.
