To Think with Judith Butler

Judith Butler got together with 400 adolescents at the CCCB to talk about everything to do with gender. The adolescents shared their concerns with one of today’s foremost women philosophers. This episode of Soy Cámara captures the reflections that took place and includes the voices of readers of Butler (Lorena Fuster, Marina Garcés, Joana Masó, Begonya Sáez, Marta Segarra, Meri Torras), who share their thoughts. These philosophers present us with Butlerian concepts such as gender issues, performativity, the norm, violence, interdependence, vulnerability and precarious lives. This Soy Cámara takes on the challenge of trying to explain philosophy to all publics without losing rigour or depth.
