Magnum. 10 Sequences
Under the influence
Debate
What form does artistic affiliation take? How does the cinema exert its influence on photography? This cycle of lectures and screenings sets out to solve this mystery by examining the direct experiences of six photographers and artists who have explored these mirrors of creation in their bodies of work. From the viewpoint of his artistic work, each speaker builds the bridges connecting it to a film that went before, creating a multiple portrait of the construction process and the meaning of the images.
Each session comprises a talk by an artist followed by the screening of the chosen film.
