Donovan Wylie
Born in 1971 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He lives and works in London.
Donovan Wylie came to photography very young.
In 1992 he followed a group of youthful itinerants in England -“New Age travellers” as Margaret Thatcher termed them- and his reportage ultimately led to the publication of Losing Ground in 1996. He then undertook several major personal projects, most of them in connection with Northern Ireland.
2004 saw publication of The Maze, on the notorious prison in Northern Ireland.
Donovan Wylie became a Member of Magnum Photos in 1997.
