Lucía Lijtmaer, writer and journalist, takes an unexpected look at the exhibition “Gameplay” from the viewpoint of Gothic fiction.
Gothic fiction, combining horror and romanticism, has permeated audiovisual culture since its inception in the 18th century. Building on its tradition, we will be analysing the emergence and contrast of its coherences, repetitions and subversive elements through the five sections of the exhibition.
