Conversation with the Norwegian writer, author of My Struggle, about his literary work.

Karl Ove Knausgård (Oslo, 1968) made his debut in 1998 with Ute av verden (Out of the World), a novel highly acclaimed by critics and readers that earned him the Norwegian Critics Prize which was awarded to a newcomer for he first time ever. His second, En tid for alt (A Time for Everything), consolidated him as one of the most important voices in contemporary Scandinavian narrative.

In the year 2009 he undertook an incomparable literary project, My Struggle (Min Kamp in Norwegian), an autobiographical work made up of six novels that has won several international awards and has been published in over fifteen countries. L’Altra Editorial has published the first four volumes in Catalan translation to a warm reception from the critics: La mort del pare (2015), Un home enamorat (2015), L’illa de la infantesa (2015) and Ballar en la foscor (2016). It is about to publish the fifth: Dies de pluja. The Spanish translation is published by Anagrama.
