Salvador Trallero and Antonio Escartín, experts in the civil war and George Orwell's figure, travel through images of the places in Aragon where the British writer passed through and talk about the task of recovering his legacy.
In the winter of 1937, George Orwell arrived at the Aragon front poorly armed and without imagining the relentless cold that would rule the Alcubierre mountain chain. His footprint in these lands, extensively narrated in Homage to Catalonia, still remains today thanks to the work of people linked to the territory as the cultural activist and editor Salvador Trallero and the civil war scholar Antonio Escartín, who have worked in the recovery and vindication of his legacy. In this session, both experts, with the moderation of the historian Fernando Casal, revisit through images the places of war through which Orwell passed and talk about the task of recovering and keeping alive the historical memory.
