In this session, presented by the expert in complex systems Sergi Valverde, Diego Redolar Ripoll, expert and researcher in cognitive neuroscience, will analyse the neural mechanisms underlying videogames.

Continuous interaction with digital leisure activity can bring about structural and functional neuronal changes linked with different cognitive domains and the configuration of the nervous system. How can we understand these changes and their relationship with the darker side of the leisure society, for example addiction and loss of social cognition?
