The aim of the symposium is to create an space for dialogue between Palestinians and Israeli academics on the shared values on human rights, democracy and peace, with the idea of finding the ways for the resolution of the conflict in the Middle East.

 

The Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) is promoting the symposium Breaking the Wall. The Social Responsibility of Palestinian and Israeli Academics and Intellectuals at Times of Violent Conflict: An Introspective Search, to be held in Barcelona the 23, 24 and 26 July, with the collaboration of the Spanish Consulate in Jerusalem.

The debate will be held during 2 days (23 and 24 April) in a closed seminar. The conclusions will be presented in an open conference on 26 April.

FRIDAY, 23 APRIL. 9:15h.
