Walid Salem

Director of Panorama (Jerusalem) - the Palestinian Center for the Dissemination of Democracy & Community Development.

Director of the Panorama Center for the Dissemination of Democracy and Community Development (East Jerusalem) since 1993. From 1993 to 1996 he also directed the Democracy and Civil Society Unit of the same institution. Before joining Panorama, he worked as a journalist for several newspapers (1982-1986), as member of the board of directors of the Az-Zahra Center (1988) and as editor of the Hour Magazine (1986-1989). He has researched and written widely on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
