Guided tour for "Artificial Intelligence" exhibition

ALL THE GUIDED TOUR SLOTS ARE SOLD OUT

The guided visit aims to establish a conversation to connect the people who attend the visit with the reflection intended by the artistic pieces and objects present in the room.

From the 5th year of Primary, Secondary and Middle-level training cycles, High-school, Higher-level training cycles and university groups and adult groups.

The tour analyzes how the development of AI has been influenced by many different factors, both in terms of anthropological aspects of ancient civilizations and the drive of human beings towards scientific experimentation. We also analyze how AI surrounds us, shaping our lives in public and private space, through the media and the products we buy, and disturbing reflections arise such as: will AI affect privacy, freedom and truth? Finally, we open a door to the research and transversality of the applications of artificial intelligence, and to the fusion with other scientific and artistic disciplines. We see how AI invites us to consider a world where our intelligence is not the only one, we already have a hybrid intelligence.

The visits are adapted to each educational level or to the general interest of the group. For Primary (5th and 6th), Secondary and Intermediate school groups, the tour ends with a short workshop that introduces us to the language of artificial intelligence (activity designed by Taller Estampa, a studio specialized in artificial intelligence, interactive and digital projects). The design of the visit for these groups has been carried out by Urati Laboratorio, a research group halfway between artistic practice and scientific thinking.

Visits from high school onwards are considered in more depth. You can complement the visit to the exhibition with a visit to the supercomputer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. Secondary, high school and training groups can order their activity here.
