Brain Film Fest

The Brain Film Fest is an international film festival about the brain promoted by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and co-organized by Minimal Films. By means of audiovisual creation and scientific dissemination, it aims to familiarize the public with the multifaceted reality of the brain, from its capacities to its diseases and its conditions. It is the only festival of its kind in Europe and has taken place annually since 2018 at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) as part of Brain Awareness Week, a worldwide campaign to increase knowledge about the brain, and the progress and benefits of research.
