Tau Luna Acosta

They are an artist, mediator, researcher and leather teacher, a migrant from the Colombian diaspora, an agricultural descendant and the son of teachers. In their practice they investigate human migration as an event linked to colonial violence and listening and memory shared with migrant beings rather than humans through the intersection between ancestral, scientific and intuitive technologies. They have a degree in Art History and curation, an MFA in sound art and a Masters in Cultural Studies with a queer and feminist focus. They have been a scholarship holder of MACBA, WHW Akademija and La Escocesa-Escorxador Madrid. They work from the intersection between art-science-pedagogies. Their work has been exhibited in several museums, biennials and festivals in Latin America and Europe, and is part of the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Santiago de Chile and Espai El Daurat in Bogota.
