Santi Palacios

Photojournalist

Santi Palacios (Madrid, 1985) is a photojournalist who specializes in migration, conflicts and human ecology. He has worked internationally since 2008, his work has taken him to more than fifty countries, he has been published in major magazines and newspapers around the world, has exhibited in dozens of cities and has received numerous national and international awards, including a World Press Photo or the National Photojournalism Award two years in a row. In 2016 he was part of the team nominated by Associated Press for the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography; moreover, in 2018, he was selected as one of the six talents in Europe by the 6x6 Global Talent Program of the World Press Photo Foundation. Santi Palacios is editor-in-chief and founder of SONDA International, a media specialized in visual journalism on the climate crisis, and a contributor to 5W magazine.
