Sabri Louatah
A French writer who became internationally known with the saga Savages, a four-volume social and political thriller about present-day France, he describes in this work a present-day situation in which an Arab is president of the French republic, a starting point from which he goes on to consider from the perspective of cultural diversity and migrations what it means to be French. The first volume, Savages: The Wedding (The Saint-Étienne Quartet, Corsair, 2018) received the 2012 Prix du Premier roman français.
