Rafael Argullol

Writer, poet and essayist. Professor of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona.

(Barcelona, 1949). Is professor of Aesthetics and Art Theory at Pompeu Fabra University. He is a writer, poet and essayist and a member of the University Institute of Culture, which he was director of between 2002 and 2008. He is the author of some 20 books about different spheres of literature: poetry, novels and essays. His latest book is entitled Visión desde el fondo del mar (View from the Bottom of the Sea, 2010 City of Barcelona Essay Prize). He has taught at universities in Europe and America and lectured in cities in Europe, America and Asia.
