War Images

A round table discussion with some of the contributors of the book Política y (po)ética de las imágenes de guerra (Paidós, 2007).

 

The discussion will cover the role of the representation of wars in the configuration of historical memory and the collective identity of societies. The speakers will also analyse the way we see current conflicts and violence, with a special emphasis on the art of cinema, the entertainment industry and the media.
