Paula Sibilia

Professor at the Department of Cultural Studies and Media of the Universidad Federal Fluminense (Rio de Janeiro). Her work focuses on the transformations of the contemporary subjectivity, and on the relationship between bodies, subjects, technologies and their manifestations in the arts and media. She is the author of O show do eu: A intimidade como espetáculo a reflection about the impact of the new technologies on the concept of intimacy. Recently she has also published O homem pós-orgânico: corpo, subjetividade e tecnologias digitais and Redes ou paredes: a escola em tempos de dispersão.
