Marc Marginedas

Marc Marginedas is a journalist with a long and renowned career as a war correspondent. Until 2022 he was the correspondent of El Periódico in Moscow, and throughout his more than twenty years of experience in the profession, he has covered some of the main wars, revolts and conflicts of today, such as Algeria, Chechnya, Darfur, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon or the Arab revolutions. He has written about his experiences as a war correspondent in the book Periodismo en el campo de batalla. Quince años tras el rastro de la Yihad (RBA Libros, 2012) and will soon publish Rusia contra el mundo: Más de dos décadas de terrorismo de Estado, secuestros, mafia y propaganda (Ediciones Península, 2025), an investigation that reveals how Russia has become the great destabilizer of global geopolitics. He has received the Cirilo Rodríguez journalism awards for best foreign correspondent (2013), National Communication Award (2013) and Luka Brajnovic Journalism Award (2019).
