Ukraine, three years later
Pilar Bonet, Marc Marginedas and Tetiana Goncharova
Debate
Coinciding with the third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, journalists Pilar Bonet and Marc Marginedas talk to Ukrainian journalist Tetiana Goncharova about the current situation of the conflict.
After three years there is a risk that the Russian invasion of Ukraine will become a frozen conflict. This February the war will begin its fourth year amid a climate of permanent uncertainty and with an increasingly convulsive global geopolitical context. Now, in the midst of negotiations on the future of Ukraine, there is still no prospect of guaranteed peace and it is difficult to foresee how the country will be able to continue to cope with this destruction.
In this dialogue moderated by Agus Morales, we propose to think about the current situation in Ukraine and we count on the presence of three great experts on the conflict, Pilar Bonet, correspondent of El País in Moscow for thirty-four years, Marc Marginedas, ex-correspondent of El Periódico in Moscow, and the Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter Tetiana Goncharova, actively involved in the volunteers in the frontline area. The event is carried out with the collaboration of the magazine 5W.
Moderators: Agus Morales
Participants: Pilar Bonet, Marc Marginedas, Tetiana Goncharova
