Julia Cagé

Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Sciences Po Paris

(Metz, France, 1984)  Assistant Professor of Economics at Sciences Po Paris and a Research Affiliate of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington, D.C. Her work draws from various fields of study including economic history, industrial organization, international trade and political economy. She is the author of Saving the Media: Capitalism, Crowdfunding and Democracy (Harvard University Press, 2016), which proposes an alternative model for journalism and the media industry, based on Non-Profit Media Organizations.
