Juarma

Cartoonist

Juan Manuel López (Deifontes, 1981), better known as Juarma in the underground comic scene, has worked as a labourer, construction worker and waiter. On the subject of precarity, he has created comic strips overflowing with sarcasm and bad blood, groping his way across the borderlands of humour in fanzines such as Me gustas, pero dentro de un nicho or alternative comics such as Amor y policía. He also published the poetry book Poemas escritos a navajazos and the novel Al final siempre ganan los monstruos.
