Adviser on territorial planning in the Department of Territorial Policy and Public Works of the Generalitat (Government) of Catalonia, he was formerly a researcher and head of Territorial Studies at the Institute of Regional and Metropolitan Studies of Barcelona, and has also taught Geography at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and at the École Nationale des Travaux Publics de l’État in Lyon.
