Emilio Fonseca

(Ourense, 1978)

Researcher in Audiovisual Communication at the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2008, together with Xiana do Teixeiro, he founded Walkie Talkie Films. As a team or separately, Fonseca and Do Teixeiro have reflected on the relation between what is human and what is not, the idea of nature, and ecosocial conflicts in films like Queimar o Monte (2013), Sotobosque (2016), Somos Plaga (2017), and Soy Muro (2018), and the documentary comic Verde Invisible (2016). He has published the graphic novel Fóra de mapa (2017) winner of the 11th Castelao de Banda Deseñada Prize of the County Council of A Coruña.
