Clara Serra

Clara Serra is a researcher, feminist activist and former member of the Madrid Assembly. She is currently a researcher at the University of Barcelona and an educator on questions of gender and feminism, and she is a member of the collective “Malas Feministas” [Bad Feminists]. She holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies of Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid and another in Interdisciplinary Studies in Gender from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She was in charge of the Area of Equality for the political party Podemos from its founding until 2017. She is the author of the books Leonas y zorras. Leonas y zorras. Estrategias políticas feministas (Catarata, 2018) and Manual Ultravioleta (Penguin Random House, 2019) and regularly publishes opinion pieces in various media outlets, such as El País.
