Bernard Stiegler
Philosopher, Director of the Institut de Recherche et Innovation of the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris, and Professor at the University of Technology of Compiègne. Author of a large bibliography, it is particularly important his work Technics and Time, which underlines the relation between the human being and the technological progress as diseases and solutions at the same time. He presents, from this perspective, how the Internet and its associated marketing block the user to limit the consumption. Previously he was Director of Programs at the Collège international de Philosophie, Director of the Research Unit Cornaissances and Assistant Manager of the Institut National de l’Audiovisuel.
Bernard Stiegler has published more than 100 articles, including many papers in published collections.
