Albert Serratosa

President of the Institute of Territorial Studies and professor of Urban Planning and Territorial Regulation at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), he has taken part in the drafting of the main plans for territorial regulation in Catalonia over the past forty years. Notable here is his work as director of the General Metropolitan Plan of Barcelona, which was approved in 1976 and, subsequently, of the Cadí Tunnel Plan. From 1988 to 2000 he was director of the Metropolitan Territorial Plan of Barcelona and he has worked as a consultant to the Department of Territorial Policy of the Generalitat (Government) of Catalonia.
